Some time ago there were questions about whether beatings in front of the whole school ever happened. I don’t think they were common but I heard of one.

Peta Wilson, the Australian actress, in a 1999 interview with American host, Conan O`Brian, told of a time she was spanked in front of the entire school of 600 students in an assembly. “I was 13 years old.
